The 1943 copper penny is very valuable. All coins in 1943 were made out of steel because of World War II. A few copper pennies were accidentally produced and a rare coin was born. Below you will find a list of valuable pennies including rare pennies as well as error coins. But first I want to tell you about some pennies that are not really valuable pennies yet, but have a good potential to become valuable over time. 
Whether or not you decide to collect pennies, you should watch out for these coins as you are looking through your change. 
These pennies are worth more than face value already and have a potential to increase in value over time as they become more rare. 
All Wheat Pennies. They are all worth at least three times face value unless they are heavily damaged or just plain worn totally out. 
Pennies Dated Before 1982. In mid-1982, the composition was changed to 97.5% zinc and 2.5% copper. Previous issues were 95% copper. The composition was changed because the 95% copper coins contained more than a cents worth of copper making them too expensive to produce.

Amazon makes a great e-reader called the Kindle Fire. They also make other e-readers, but I personally own a Kindle Fire and I love it!  You can also get a variety of Books about Coins for the e-readers. 

 It is a great way to take all of your coin books with you where ever you go. 
 I love my Kindle Fire ! I highly recommend them to everyone! 
 It is so nice to be able to check out information or statistics on any coin I happen to see at anytime I want to without carrying a car load of books everywhere I go. Now all I have to do is turn on my Kindle Fire and choose the book I want and refresh my memory about any coin or its worth.
